To Raise your dragons stats you'll be taking care of them everyday, feeding them, training them, giving them stat raising items, hunting with them, and battling with them

Cleaning your dragon on their profiles will raise vision, power, speed and intellect.

Battling has a chance of raising power, however the chance is lower when fighting dragons that don't match your dragon's breed.

- Feeding -

Feeding dragons raises any random stat, however some items will never raise your dragon's stats. The only one I know of at this time is the old boot.

Training them will raise their speed stat

Hunting will raise your dragon's intellect by 0-3 points.

Stat raising items will list which stats they raise and you can only use 20 on any one dragon, though technically 20 items that raise all stats is the most "optimal" way to raise stats however these items tend to be rare.
