Guide #5 | Lair Customization

Go Back?

If you've seen users with cool styled lairs with cool boxes or different colors, but don't know how to do them yourself, you're in luck! However, you will need a baseline understanding of html (and css if you want cool colors).

To make a new layout from scratch, you can write whatever html elements you wish. If you'd like a layout that stays more "inline" with the rest of the site you will have to use inspect element around different parts of the site that have something styled the way you like, such as the staff page.

If you would like your pages colored a different way, you will have to use inspect element again, and find leviathan.css (linked for ease of access) and either save it to your own device, or copy and paste it into a css editor. Either way you will have to customize it on your own. I highly reccomend the extension Stylus for this task (Chrome) (firefox) as it will allow you to preview your newly written css!

At this post the process is trial and error if you're determined to write completely from scratch, however if you're not, my own lair code style is made freely avaible to adjust as you please below via two sources.

TemplateDarkMode.txt | Pastebin

You might noticed i omitted my image replacing the icon dragon and the background, this is because the icon was artfight art of my own character, and the background was made by a tumblr user and i did not ask permission to redistribute it.
